  • 10 to 49 lbs – 25 to 30 months in prison and $5,000 in fines
  • 50 to 1,999 lbs – 35 to 42 months in prison and $25,000 in fines
  • 2,000 to 9,999 lbs – 70 to 84 months in prison and $50,000 in fines
  • 10,000 lbs or more – 175 to 219 months in prison and $200,000 in fines

Cocaine results in many Raleigh drug manufacturing charges and distribution arrests.  North Carolina penalties include:

  • 28 to 199 g – 35 to 42 months in jail and $50,000 in fines
  • 200 to 399 g – 70 to 87 months in jail and $100,000 in fines
  • 400 g or more – 175 to 219 months in jail and $250,000 in fines

Possessing heroin can result in a Raleigh drug trafficking arrest, with the following penalties:

  • 4 to 13 g – 70 to 84 months imprisonment and $50,000
  • 14 to 27 g – 90 to 117 months imprisonment and $100,000
  • 28 g or more – 225 to 279 months imprisonment and $250,000
